Hii House

ongoing

93250 Kuching, Sarawak.

Hii House is distinguished by its stylish façade, comprising rows of robust wooden sunscreens, letting natural light filter in without excessive glare. Meanwhile, unobstructed windows on the house's rear allow for a more open, expansive view. The house itself is surrounded by a garden of verdant, leafy greens, creating the image of a modern castle rising above a lush forest.

Inside, the first floor constitutes a large, interconnected living space, a set of environments that flow into one another, emphasising a clear design language. Large glass sliding doors keep the indoors in constant conversation with the outdoor garden, stregnthening the idea of an interconnected home. A long mezzanine on the second floor is lined with bedrooms that overlook the living room below.
