20dB Headquarter Office

20dB is a hearing healthcare company with 16 chained outlets in Malaysia. For this renovation project, we converted two lots of existing five-storey building into their headquarters.

 

Our scope includes not only internal space planning but also external facelift. With a tight budget, the design explored a creative way to foster a new image for the office while simultaneously maintain the overall image of all outlets.

 

As the site has a poor visual linkage from the main road, a 12 m x 20 m steel façade painted in red was introduced to catch the eyes of the public, at the same time serving as a sun screen. This striking facade sets up a new identity for the 20dB Headquarters in Kuching.
