Lumos Residences

The project is located at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee, Kuching. It is a nine-storey serviced apartment block and adjoins the existing single storey corporate office of Benta Mewah. It consists of 72 units of serviced apartment, with four different types of layout ranging from 1,100 to 1,300 square feet. The apartment block is arranged in single tier design with north south facing orientation and therefore enhancing good natural ventilation. All the apartment units has its own balcony with pivot louvers screen and ventilation block to provide privacy and shades.

 

Planter boxes are strategically placed along the open corridor, functioning as both a shield against the sun and rain. Embracing the contemporary ethos, off-form walls are utilized to elegantly display the innate rawness of materials. Ventilation blocks in each lift lobby to facilitate natural cross ventilation to have a more environmental conscious approach with minimal footprint. Green initiatives such as smart devices are integrated in each apartment unit also a rainwater harvesting system for efficient irrigation. Additionally, a connecting bridge on the first floor seamlessly links the apartment to the communal sports hall. The low density design, the space offers a sense of exclusivity and tranquility, catering to the peace-seeking inhabitants.
