Tucked away in one corner of Hui Sing Garden, Nestled Nest lies amongst a mature residential area in Kuching. The overall house massing is a derivation from each floor’s privacy; the heavyweight sits sandwiched between the lightweight, just as the well-enclosed first floor sits above the generously open ground floor.

Making up the central space of the home are the living and dining areas, where a generous double volume ceiling height establishes vertical visual connections in addition to horizontal connectivity. At Nestled Nest, simplicity comes with a straightforward and linear spatial layout which follows the rectangular-shaped site. The residence is comparable to a humbly hidden nest; a comfortable shelter to return to.
